Oct. 30th.  The newspaper said a South wind today, so I figured it would be a good day to head into the Buones Aires wildlife refuge and then to Arivaca and back with the benefit of a tail-wind on the way home.  Along the way I rode for about 20 miles with another rider, Kurt from Fitworks, who with his extensive knowledge in bicycle biomechines of gave me some suggestions for tweeking my bike to make my ride more comfortable and also introduced me to the wonders of Fruit Pies and V8 Juice (which has 10X the sodium and potassium of gatorade!).  There is a long 40+ miles between 3 points and Arivaca with no water, so the boarder patrol helped me out--not wanting to get myself in trouble by getting dehydrated I flagged one of them down and she was very helpful.  The rest of ride was beautiful, but alas, the wind shifted and I didn't have the tailwind I was hoping for.  Darkness again came to quickly and I barely made it back to my car before it got too dark to ride.  Actual miles: 124
